10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (admission until 4:30 p.m.)

The Museum of Osaka University is closed on Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays

*The Museum may be temporarily closed in case of difficulties due to bad weather such as typhoons and other disasters or public transportation conditions.

Visitor Guidelines

・The Museum is equipped with two wheelchairs. If you would like to use one, please ask at the reception desk.

・The restroom is equipped with a diaper changing table, is wheelchair accessible, and can be used as a nursing area.

・The baggage coin lockers (100 yen coin returnable) are available in front of the elevators on the first floor.

・Please refrain from bringing long-handled items into the exhibition space.

・If you have an umbrella or a sunshade, please use the umbrella stand.

・The Museum is located on the Toyonaka Campus of Osaka University.

・The closest station is Ishibashi-Handaimae Station on the Hankyu Railway Takarazuka Line.

・Please use public transportation when you visit the Museum. Please refrain from visiting by car.

・Group tours have been resumed with restrictions. Please check here for details.

・Please note that depending on the level of congestion in the building, you may be asked to wait to enter the Museum even if you are an individual visitor.

 

Visitor guidelines to prevent coronavirus (COVID-19) infection

We would like to ask all visitors for their cooperation in order to prevent the spread of infection.

・ Please cooperate in wearing a mask and disinfecting your hands when you come to the Museum.

・ Please refrain from visiting if you have symptoms such as fever or cough, or if you are not feeling well.

・ Please measure your body temperature before visiting.

・ Please fill in the “health check form” when you enter the Museum.

・ Admission may be restricted (up to 80 people) to avoid crowding in the hall.

・ Please keep a distance between people and view at intervals of about two meters in the exhibition space.

・ Please refrain from talking in the Museum.

・ If it is crowded, please cooperate in avoiding close contact with others by moving to another vacant exhibition room.

・ Do not touch the exhibits, display cases, glass, etc., in the exhibition room.

・ If the hall is crowded, please cooperate with the viewing within 90 minutes.

・ If you are coming in a group of 15 or more people, please apply for a group tour in advance.
