Wireless LAN (802.11a/g/b/一部n)
Osaka University-wide wireless LAN trial service can be used at the Machikaneyama Shugakukan Office.
Can be used:
- In Machikaneyama Shugakukan Exhibition Hall at the 1F Museum cafe “SAKA (坂: Meaning of slope),” and near the cafe terrace, at the 3F seminar room, at the 3F multipurpose room, and at the roof terrace (from Saturday, August 18, 2007)
- Osaka University the SSID of the university-wide wireless LAN trial service is odins-1x.EF
- For those who come from out-of-campus, you can also use FREESPOT provided by the Museum cafe “The SAKA (坂).”
Notes
Osaka University officials should connect to odins-wlan, which is the SSID for university-wide wireless LAN. An Osaka University personal ID is required to use it. For more information, please click here.
If you are Museum staff, please connect to this SSID (this page cannot be accessed from outside the Museum’s network).
If you come from out-of-campus, please connect to FREESPOT without authentication.

The information outlet is on the 3F Seminar Room of the Machikaneyama Shugakukan Exhibition Hall
The information outlet can be used inside the first-floor Museum cafe “The SAKA (坂)” with the indication “osaka-u”, same as the usage of wired LAN in the attached library and practice center classroom.
